Motherhood

For our layout class we had to depict a mother in any manner as long as it was done so in a positive light. The whole assignment sprung from our professor having recently lost his mother, so I suppose he just wanted to pay an homage to motherhood. They weren't needed to be completely finalized and amazing pieces of art, this was more to be taken as a warm-up/challenge, which is why I didn't spend ages on any one of these. With the second sketch I wanted to color it, so I did that in 45 minutes or so and added a texture.
